All of the pics I just posted Liz the last 2 days are currently alive and swimming.

Im hoping to breed the son to one of the ones I got from Miranda . I think though my old females are done.. I think I have a few males still that are up to the job. We will see.

Thanks Jake, Hope you have the chance soon. Its a really cool experience. These old fish of mine have seen better Days .. A few are still remarkably nice looking despite their Age but I wanted to share their pics anyhow as most hobbyists haven't seen "old Discus" They usually only see pics of young discus to those a few years old. Just like any animal, humans included, Aging has a profound change on an animal.

Hope some here gain some insight in how long Discus can live. Its a question asked often but we rarely see examples... just the anecdotal"x" number of years quoted,parroted, and requoted.
