Hi all,
Aside from the impulse purchases, we usually have a pretty good idea of what kind of discus we would purchase next for our tanks....so let me ask you....

Whats your Next Discus going to be?

Whats that next certain strain that you can't live without, or that you have been drooling over.

for me I think the next I would like to see in my tanks are wild Browns with lots of red pigment, either that or solid blues...blue diamonds or cobalts would be a great add in as I have none of these.

so what would it be for you.... you have the tanks, the mortgage/bills are paid and you come in the possession of some cash or credit you didn't know you had.... what discus would you buy?

Although I have gotten ahold of some pretty nice Cobalts lately to help curb my addiction to blue Discus, I have never owned nice Blue Diamonds. Cash is at a premium right now but I absolutely dream of owning a couple of beautifully shaped BD's. Someday maybe... :-\

Ocean Greens ;D

And of couse some really green discus - emerald green ! ( I have ocean greens which are beautiful - but they are not emerald green)

I'm saving up for some Curipera's and Tefe RSG's.

On the domestic side, I really like the Ocean Greens, BSS's and the VR's.

I loved spotted discus. Can't seem to get enough of them. So somehting along the line of leopards. Lots of small dots.

I would like to have some Red Alenquer from Peter Bachmaier that Oliver at Below Water has on his web site.

Second choice would be some almost adult Angel Blue Diamonds from Cary at Great Lakes Discus.

I am thinking about getting the Blue Diamonds with the Black tails and try and expand the Black into the whole body and call it my Black Diamonds or Midnight Diamonds.

Al at Rocky Mountain Discus has some white babies and some red babies that I want....and any other pretty ones he breeds. Saving tanks for them.

well..ive had about all of them..and now have tried to choose a few strains id like to work on. and their gonna be basic classic strains. for one thing...so far ive found their far better parents. and..i fell in love with discus for the turquoise ones. so thats what i want now. some nice blue fishies.
ive had several bd over the years.but always ditched them as not the shape i wanted etc. so now..my next fish i want are Zoids. bd. and im waiting on them. also want some nice goldens. love the yellow fish. ive yet to find some good ones of those either. but determined to get some.
those ocean greens....might be high on my list. had them once also but no good quality. so out they went. other than that...some alencer type fishies to go with what i have. then..i will be content. : )) yah think? red , blue, green and yellow. what more can one ask for?
