Default Spawning Drought appears to be over!!

My discus have finally started spawning again!! ;D
Red spotted diamond snake pair spawned early monday morning...and my leopard(or red diamond depending on who you ask) male and female spawned this afternoon....I've been trying to get THEM to spawn together since July or earlier...didn't want to turn the cone again and piss them off, but the female is fanning the eggs which are just out of view...
    I'm a happy camper today

ps my apologies for the crappy pics

    Congradulations!

I've had a pair on strike since July.

Hope they work out for you...

RSD spawn is maybe 20 wigglers :-[

Leopard spawn looks really good at 50 hours-almost every egg is almost black-not a massive spawn, but it look's like over a 100...and without RO(they surprised me-wasn't expecting the spawn)

This is just a guess, but I'd say older than 1.5 years, younger than 3 years....I received them as adults....
the eggs hatched into wigglers btw-late thursday night...they'll go free-swimming some time today...

with a better camera this would've been one kick-as* picture...the female looked like one of those circus freaks with their face all covered in bees... ;D
i bribed her with bloodworms to get her to come up to the front of the tank...

p.s. after lowering the tank water almost a dozen times over the past few days(my tank's on a drip so it kept slowly refilling) they are definitely attached...i never get tired of watching the parents swimming around with all the fry glued to their sides
