    Hello My name is Alan aka MINIATUS on most Reef boards. Im new here and this is MY first post. Im from St Thomas, Ontario. Glad to see lots of Timmies fans here.
    Im just in the process of setting up My first planted/Discus tank. Once I find My Camera and figure out a few things I will discribe the new setup.

    heh all you canadians..especailly the ontarians..anyone know this person whos selling discus in canada ? he says its a group of breeders who are selling. someone in vancouver is buying from them..so curious...

    I think I remember reading about this guy on BC Aquaria? The person posting about him wasn't too happy, if I recall (but don't quote me )

    whats your name on bcaquaria barb? mines april. lol. (eye rolling emoticon) someones buying from him now..first group were dead via purolator..next batch is on the way. i posted...im sure hes collecting from other sellers or importing. figured someone here would have heard of him. there is a group of hobbyists in ontario who trade fish back and forth though..

    I'm just as bad as you, I'm traco over there! lol Yes, I had read about the lost discus with Purolator, what a shame to have fish die due to late shipments, lost, etc....

    I will look into it April.
    On his web-site it shows what appears to be a high-fin bd. There are not too many people that breed them here....just one comes to mind. I will find out.

    Member of Calgary Aquarium Society and we are fish enthusiasts! We travel far and wide to add to our "discus family" and loving every minute of it.

    In the next few weeks we will be travelling to the Okanagan and Lower Mainland of BC in search of the perfect specimen!

    Remember: Fish aren't work! They are a labour of love!

    well..if you are coming to the lower mainland..stop in and check my not so perfect specimens out. : ) ill never say mine are the perfect ones..but i have a few nice ones i like. i have a few fish anyhow..perfect or not so perfect. that will be your judgement.
    what kind of fish are you looking for? discus or lots of kinds of fish?
