It is good to get the feedback on the F1's. Here are a few pictures that I took tonight of my F1's. Realize that these discus are over 1 year old, and only 2.5 - 3.5 inches in size. Small for their age compared to domestics, but I think they will continue to grow, and get to 4 or more inches after another year. If they do, I will be happy to continue to work with them and try to get F2 generation fish going.
Here is a Heckel / Alenquer cross.

Well it's 14 year later, does anybody else want to contribute on breeding f1 nowadays etc.

I am curious as well. I wanted F1's, but could never find any. I now have a bunch of wild blues, I think i might have 1 pair, but they show no signs of wanting to lay eggs.
