    Default Air pump question

Does anyone have experience with Luft Pumps or Schego?

At 7 psi, Luft seems very powerful for the money...

    Thanks,

    Brian

    Brian,
No other pumps even compair to the linear pumps, like the ones at Jehmco.
I have used Luft pumps in the past and they were O.K., but the durability and quietness do not come close to the linear pumps !!!

Brian of the two you mentioned I have no experience with either. Frank at Edgewater discus has mentioned the Schego on at least one occasion. Hes a very old man with lots of fish experience so I would have no problem giveing it a try on his recomendation. Send him a message. HTH Rich

Too funny! Hope Franks sense of humor hasn't faded in all his 52 years ;D

I'm looking to pump air into only 4 - 55g tanks, which is why I was looking at these models. I would assume the linear may be a little overkill, am I wrong? I assumed they are for larger set-ups.

I had seen Frank mention the Schego's before and came across the Luft when looking for it. The Luft is the only one I saw that mentions actual psi being that great, as compared to others that produce around 3 psi. Schego didn't give a power rating.

I've been running a Luft for 4 years now. It is the only one I have not rebuilt.
