New Gorilla Racks

Hi all!!! Santa came early, replaced the digital camera that I tried to dribble off the concrete when I got home from Cary's. Cary, that's why I didn't post any pictures, when I got home, I dropped the camera and totally destroyed it. The new one arrived today so as promised I am posting pictures of the gorilla racks we have been working on for a couple of days. I was going to try to take pics as we put them together but hubby threatened mutiny so here are the sorta finished products.

Thanks George, I think we are going to like them. Just wish our floors were level. We had to shim them to make them level.

Ronny, I sure hope they are. They are very sturdy steel racks with cross supports under the 3/4 inch plywood shelving we have on them. I am putting contact shelf liner paper on them to protect from spills.
As for the tanks, well, we are painting the backs of them and getting them ready to go up and fill with water. Next project is extending the air lines into the side room and then the fun part.....buying Discus!!!!!

Where did you get those racks? The ones I've seen at HD and Lowes only come with 2 shelves and I'd like 3.

Brian, we got the 8 footers at Menards. They had 3 different depths and 2 different heights. And I think they had 3 different rail lengths, 4 feet, 6 feet, and 8 feet.
