fluke?

have been told that there is out break of fluke in melbourne tap water there are a few LFS that have fish dying. so if i boil the water will this get rid of the fluke and is there a way of telling if my discus have them? and what type of meds should i be asking my vet for?(due aust laws its can be hard to get good meds from the LFS)
one of the LFS has had water tested this is how the out break was found any info on this problem would be helpful

fluke tabs and formalin are common meds in US pet stores. Used to combat external parasites. Available in OZ?

You have gill flukes in your city tap water that chlorine/chloramine is not killing? Are you sure? That does not sound right to me . . .
