    Default The poor kid's lighting project

    This project cost me about 18 bucks
    14 for the lightings fixture and 3 for the blue caps which i used to connect the wires . The pictures are bad maybe someone has already done this but yeah i juss figure it out so tell me what you think

    Good for you! Its much better and compacter than trying to fit the whole fixture, isnt it? And its not even that hard! You dont need to spend hundreds of dollars for a simple light!

    Thanks for the pics! ;D I always love seeing 'success' and someone saving money by diy! ;D

    That's the advantage to standard tank sizes!

    If you can use 24" or (better) 48" lights you can save a TON o cash by setting up your own lights, even when it needs to be bright for plants.

    I backed myself in to a corner and need 18" lights- make/buy was the same price... Lots.. )-:
