    Default Who Eats green spot?

So the SAEs have mowed down the fuzz, and the Otos have returned my once-brown water return tube to bright white- but nobody is touching the green spot that forms on the glass.

    What fish is missing?

I've got a pair of platty's in my planted tank that meticulously peck through my java moss all day long. I've also seen them picking at green spot algae on the bottom of the glass, but I can't tell you exactly how effective they are since I don't have a major problem with it.

I've heard molly's are the solve all problems to algae in the tank...

I prefer using a scraper for the stuff on the glass.
Once a week or so is sufficient

That's what I'm doing now, at about that rate. Prefer to have a fish do it if I can, though.

The only fish I know of that will scrape Green Spot will also scrape the heck out of your plants. Using a razor blade on the glass and removing infected leaves is about the best way to take care of the stuff IMO.

    Best of luck!

Or maybe try an algae sponge from LFS- use the rough side and some elbow grease and those little green spots will disappear.
