I agree with DOO-E, as nice of a planted discus tank as you can see.

I have attached a pic of my 90 gal tank. plans are to add discus in the future.
    24 cardinals
    6 ottos
    diy co2
4 vho bulbs - lights on at 12:00 and off at 9:30 pm
    eheim 2026
    red flint laterite mix.
plants - sagittaria subulata, java fern, java moss, anubia, and bronze wendtii. Will possibly add microsword front side.
    nitrate, nitrite, ammonia 0
    pH 7.0 (lowering this)

I am lowering pH, GH, and KH gradually. Replacement water will all be made up of RO/DI. (waiting on part for RO/DI unit, should arrive this week). Will use all RO/DI to top off and to change on a weekly basis.

That is a really nice set-up!! What kind of discus are you looking to put in there. I can picture some wilds in there!

I like lots of stumps and roots, so I like your aquascape! I'm trying to keep only Amazonian plants with my Discus. Are all of these plants from the Amazon? Or are some Asian?

    Thanks for your comments.

I think most of the plants are from amazonas,
Vallisnerias, Echinodorus bleheri, Echinodorus Cuadricostatus although some of them I think you can find in a lot of places around the world like Limnophila Sessiflora, Anubias or hygrophila polysperma.
