Great tank Xirxes....sorry to hear about the fish loss.
Hi ya iceterran...
Nice set up! Looks pretty new.
The hygro will take over half that tank in no time. The blyxa might have a bit of a hard time with the floating veggitation ya have in there at the moment. They really need a bit of light and the dense floating carpet you have will rob them of that..
I would personally put a background on the back an sides. Helps with shadows bouncing of the back wall and make the discus feel more secure in their enviroment.

Pre-Discus tank. It's still fairly new and i working on changing it around a it. This is my first time with plants and I'm loving planting just as much as fish right now. hehe.
Good eye first timer. It looks really nice.
As bright as the sun and twice as proud...I refuse to hang out under a cloud!
Thanks! looking at all the fantastic aquaecapes here.... i've already move things around to have a space to in the middle. I think it looks better.
its very nice. maybe that large anubias could be closer to the right side driftwood to give it a natural feel.
Another one of the tank in my shop.
It's a 215 gallon.
Are you using MH in this tank, Dan? Love the tank - white sand, red discus, green anubias growing upwards on driftwood.... really great !
