    Hi ya iceterran...

Nice set up! Looks pretty new.

The hygro will take over half that tank in no time. The blyxa might have a bit of a hard time with the floating veggitation ya have in there at the moment. They really need a bit of light and the dense floating carpet you have will rob them of that..

I would personally put a background on the back an sides. Helps with shadows bouncing of the back wall and make the discus feel more secure in their enviroment.

its very nice. maybe that large anubias could be closer to the right side driftwood to give it a natural feel.

Are you using MH in this tank, Dan? Love the tank - white sand, red discus, green anubias growing upwards on driftwood.... really great !

Thank you sir. Its a simple planted discus tank. Try to do both planted and discus. The plants are all anubias which can tolerate higher temperature. Thin layer of sand for substrate for easy waterchange.

Brand new, so waiting for the bacteria blooms to settle out

First real try at aquascaping, turned out nice I think
cant wait for it to fill in.

Thinking maybe 4 blue snakeskins, might not keep Discus in it though.
