    Default Wild Blue Spawn

    Hi all,

I got lucky and got a pair of Wild Blue that decided to spawn in the community Tank. I gave them their own 29 gal. but the weren’t interested so I set them back to there buddies and off they go again.
After 3 days back they had (just guessing) 150-250 eggs and from those about 80-90 got to the free swimming stage. After day 1 there were about 40 left > and after day 2 around 30.
I found out that the divider was not properly done from me and watched about 12-15 being served as a snack.
Well day 12 now and still 23 left
Hope the rest will make it.

    Ronald

    Thanks all,

    Jerry,
I forgot about that in the excitement lol.
They laid the first batch after I had them 2 weeks (they were about 1 week in captivity until then) on the sponge.
Next day eggs were gone. So I thought I might give them there own 29 gal but the male did not do well at all in there so I put them back after 1 week in that tank. Only after 3 days back the started again. Speaking of being lucky ;D
