    Default # OF SPAWNS

    How many times will a pair typically spawn. Are there any limiting factors.....such as only between certain ages.

    Hi John, I think they're all different. I have two pairs that spawn every time I take the fry away at 8 days free swimming, within 24 hours. While another female only lays eggs about once every 5 weeks or so, no matter what.

    ....thanks....but I'm asking how many times (not that anyone counts)...not how often. Do they typically stop after a few years/certain age. Or does a female have a certain # off eggs and when she is done....she's done.
