    Default "Storage Solution"

Just received a Hanna combo pH/TDS/EC meter - my first tds meter. Instructions say I must store the device w/ a few drops of Hanna proprietary storage solution.

Is this really necessary and what damage or deleterious effect do I risk if I don't?

    Thanks.

    Bruce,
Yes its imperative to store, with a few drops in the cover cap of the meter.....the storage solution from what I recall protects the probe. I store mine in the solution and it has a tendency to evaporate so keep a good eye on it..

    regards,
    Tad
