    Smile Fish Room (wall) start-up

Well I finally got a go from my wife on a small fish-room (wall) - "as long as it's out of the way"
So I though to start posting as I do this ,
Basement room (Concrete floor) in total with 2x4 reinforcement this rack is calculated for 15 tons (30000 lb), and is bolted to the concrete floor and attached to the walls.

Plan is to have top shelf - 11f 200gl tank (132L x 20H x 20W) - on order - should be here after Christmas, it is designed with slides to separate tank in to 6 sections if needed) for now 1-33gl – grow-out, 1 - 25gl -Rose SS with 2week old batch, 1 - 29gl - Malboro x Golden SS (eggs - 2nd day)
Mid row - set for 2 - 60 gl tanks, at the moment 4 - 20gl (2 - planted display Bumblebee cats, purl guramies and Angels; 1- empty breeder, 1 - Golds - eggs - second attempt).
Bottom, 2 - 90 gl tanks, one is in , second should be here at the end of October,
Lights on a timer 1 X 40 over each shell (planted has 60w for now) now starting on plumbing.

Wow Ax! Impressive and a great idea 'hiding' the rack behind a finished front.
In discus limbo atm! So much to do and so little time!

Well if you do that you need room at the back (I have 22") to work at the back: feeding, changing water and so on. Without that, it's a pain to open and close stuff all the time.

You need to put a latches on the doors so they will stay up when you open them. I got that idea from seeing pics of hans original setup at his home before he built the big shop.

Looking at the pics ..... i didnt realise you had room behind it. You must be awful skinny to get thru that opening on the side .... lol.

I do have some room behind my rascks cause i didnt want it right against the walls but there is no way i can get back there.
