    very nice wilds you got there brew. How long does it take for discus to grow as big as the ones in the pics?

    Hey Paint... they look much better live and up close... trust me I'll be posting some pics of more from Al's stock this weekend... except these guys live in Chicago now

    No one really knows for sure on the growth rate in the wild..I suspect its identical or better than domestics and largely determined by the the environment and food availibility. My guess.. 1-2 years given a good food supply.

    I recently had a bunch of 2-3 inch wild browns that I kept a few months to see how they would grow.... They blew away any domestic strain I have ever kept as far as growth when given the same food regime... Thats just my isolated, undocumented opinion based on what I Saw. It may have just been that particular group of fish.

    Good to see you my good friend , Wilds are now part of our Xmas's , We started this new annual tradition last year with our acquisition of RSGs from you. The new Reds from Al will give us that Christmas balance of color with the Greens (RSGs) and Red (Alenquer)
