    Hey all,
I still have four 2" Yellow Crystal's and a nice pair of YC's for sale. The pair is from the same spawn as my pair thats producing fry now but is unproven. They spawn every 7 days or so now and are very clean, as are the fry. I have five 9 barred "mystery fry" from the YC pair that I don't know what they'll turn into yet so will go petty cheap. I also have 40 YC fry that are only 1" now that will be ready to go in a month or so. I'm trying to get pics up but they are all very nice round clean fish. PM me if interested.
    Thanx,

    Kacey

Hi Cliff. That time period sounds great. I'm about 30 minutes NE of Bellevue out of Duvall. If coming to my place doesn't meet your time needs I can meet up with you in Bellevue. Been to your website before. Nice!
I'll get ahold of you. Thanks!

    Hi Greg,
I will let you know ahead of schedule of what my plans are before going
to Bellevue, going with relatives so plans may keep changing.

    Kaceyo,
Yes, I am breeding the Fireworks but recently the Albinos are spawnings,
currently I have around at least 1000 frys less than 2 weeks old. I will
post some picture ASAP. There are around 20 hatching in the last couples
of weeks still mostly from the Fireworks, but also from other types of
Discus such as the Yellow Albinos, Yellow Albino cross with Albino Mellon
Albino Mellon x solid clean Orange Pigeon, Golden x Fireworks, Gan/Wayne
Ng x Fireworks, Fireworks with Yellow Albino, San Merah x Albino Melons,
    Golden Spotted Pigeon and etc.

Cliff. Because of my work I'm quite flexable so I'm sure we can work something out to match your changing time situation.
    I've seen your website gallery.
Anytime you have some time to insert some more pictures there or on here of the parents of the ones you just listed that be great.

Cliff. From what I've read about raising fry that way that is certainly an art factor to it. You have your hands fulll!
Thanks for pictures. Keep them coming or if you update your website with more let us know. Thanks!

    Cliff,
Is the fireworks pair shown from your own spawned and raised fry? They look very nice.

    Greg,
Raising frys away from their parents takes a large amount of time
plus no room for any kind of errors.

    Kaceyo,
Yes, the pair shown is from my first generation, spawn and raise in the USA.
The Fireworks is not a strain there are many different types of Discus in each
spawn. Probably only 15 to 20 percent of each batch will come out to have
the Fireworks look. I raised three spawns around 60 frys per batch and selected only 10 percent for breeding stock, then the best female and male
    were force to pair off.

    Cliff,
At what size/age can you tell the LSS from the rest? I have 2 of Waynes S. Eruptions I'm going to try and get fry from but their both female. I have to pair them with some 9 bar spotteds I have from Wayne then pull the LSS so I'll get an even lower % of erupts than your talking about.

    Kaceyo,
The age that you can tell if they are LLS are when they are full adults,
thats when the red spot will appear, unless they were artifically colored,
then this may be more difficult. I have not seen Wayne for over 8 years,
he fairly straight with me when he tells me what he is working on. The
9 bars spotted may be another offspring from the same lineage. Yes, I agree
the percentage may be lower but the growth rate may be faster. The
Discus with the lower number of bars from the LSS tend to be larger and
stronger, so there are always positive sides to the cross.

Attach is a picture of a yellow albino, as mention on this forum that
breeders are crossing pure albino with other types of Discus, the picture
    shows a Yellow Ablino.

If any of you planning on going bigger than your average hobby person here you go. What is good here is they will deliver within reason from Woodinville area which cuts out huge expense. Plus unlike other adds for these on Craigs this one is new.

We missed the 30 day return period and are stuck with a never used vertical UV protected 2340 gallon fresh water tank. It was too large for the project and it has no defects or modification of any type. Factory installed 2" fitting at base. I've cut and paste some specs from the manufactures web site, www.premierplastics.com out of Canada. Paid over $1100 plus tax. It is currently in woodinville on a flat trailer and I can deliver within a reasonable area.

17" flat area for the placement of agitators, instruments, fill openings

16" Fill opening with snug fitting self-vented, slosh-proof lid.

Provision for 21" manway with snug fitting, self-vented, slosh-proof lid.

    Tie-down slots prevent slipping chains.

Flat areas provide for fittings around tank.

2" Plastic drain fittings with siphon tube for maximum drainage.

Dark Green has exra UV protection added

    2340 91"Dia x 92"H

this is in or around Woodinville, WA
