Heckel cross RSG

On Sunday evening this heckel spawned with this domestice RSG on a heater. Here is a picture of the RSG laying eggs. I got her over two years ago from Joe at Enchanted Discus.

Here is the heckel doing his thing. I will not be able to keep you all updated on what happens. Because I'm leaving early Thursday morning for the ACA. Some of you might think he looks familar because I posted pictures of him when he bred a couple of years ago with a madeira. I've had him now for over four years.

Here is the rsg again. You will notice this is all going on in a crowd. When the spawning was complete I was able to put a divider in the tank to seperate them.

This is a picture of the F1's form when the heckel bred with a madeira a couple of years ago. You will notice some have a better center stripe than others.
