Just for the record, I purchased 4 discus from Rocky Mountian Discus, arrived alive, great shape, (acclimated well, for over 3 hours), eating like pigs and are doing just fantastic. Just a comment for anyone looking foward to next time.

I got my fish today. Two of them were in fair shape, however the peruvian green is not looking too good, has some fin damage that worries me. I wish I would have found this site earlier. I've learned my lesson.

Most of the time fin damage heals pretty quickly--unless it is really bad. Sounds like you may have done ok. Keep us updated.

Why don't you post a picture of them so we can see? There are a lot of experts here that can tell you whether the fish are recoverable and what to use on them to put them back in the pink!

I need to invest in a digital camera. The dorsal fin was clamped, and the edges looked a little rough. I was dissapointed because I had asked that they be put into seprate bags, but they came all in the same bag. Other than that it was a little better than I expected.
