    Default pH Requirements for Cardinals

OK, I'm convinced that discus don't need low pH to do well. But what about cardinal tetras? I'd like to put some cards in a 29-gallon tank with two discus. My pH is usually about 7.0, with KH 2 degrees and GH 8 degrees. Is this okay for cardinals?

    Thanks,
    Jerry

Aloha, I keep my cardinals in regular tapwater. PH is around 8.2 and all are doing well since August of last year started with 35 and lost 2 to some of my altum angels.

Yup they'll do just fine in the same water you keep the discus in.
