Default Azoo 9 in 1 Discus Pellets

Anyone feed this to their fish? I have been trying now for two weeks to get my fish to eat it, but no luck so far.

Any thoughts on this stuff? It is a beef heart pellet and I was told it really helps with growth.

    49% protein
    4.8% crude fat
    7% fiber
    5% mositure

    Thanks for any opinions

    Wayne

I've tried something different, the New Life Spectrum pellets and same thing. My fish just watch them float to the bottom. Even when starving them, they won't touch them. Figures that the stuff that's supposed to be good for them is the stuff they turn their nose up at.

Yes - they sink to the bottom.

Only one of my 5 discus after two weeks eats them. Thinking of giving up on it and going to tetra colour bits.

i use Azoo for my discus and for Bettas
Dont feed the discus for a day, and then pour azoo in.
They will eat it. Or for a week just feed them Azoo, they will lean to eat it.
I think its great my discus go nutts on it.

for pellets that fish won't accept, after a day of no feeding, try soaking the pellets in the juice form their favourite treat (bloodworm, shrimp, etc.).

As for Azoo, you can not tell much by a Gross Analysis like that.

If you list the ingredients, you get a closer picture. and also, is there no Ash content listed in the Gross Analysis?
That is a giveaway for hidden poorer quality protein or high in a spirulina type ingredient. If an algae or kelp or something is not high on the list, the Ash content should not be too high.

Also, what are the colour enhancers/dyes ?

Don't now if it is true, but doesn't azoo have a big hand in glo lite tetras? I won't support any company that adds hormones or dyes to there fish. stick to color bits.
