I'm not gonna be around

Hey guys.. just wanted to tell you all I'm not going to be around for a few days. As we were coming home from bringing Megan to the dr... It hit me.. and hard. No diahrrea for me (maybe thats TMI anyways) but my whole body aches and my head is killing me and I'm having hot/cold flashes (mostly cold) and its taking all my energy to write this.

Send me some get well prayers/vibes.. I'd appreciate it.

I feel your pain! A lot of people here have had something similar... it's getting passed all around in our family. Lots of missed work/school. Get in bed and rest! Lots of fluids to stay hydrated... I'm sure you know all this but I've always wanted to say it to someone. lol. Feel better!

Wow.. ok this is absolutely incredible. I've never had that quick a recovery time.. to get that sick and almost 100% better in 24 hours?

I went to bed at 8pm last night and I only had to get up twice to give Megan her binky and she never even woke, just fussed a little those two times (I always go in even if shes just fussing just to check on her) Only twice.. I can deal with that! lol As compared to how frequently I normally have to get up with her! The dr had given me dimetapp for her (YES) so I'm sure that helped lol.

I woke up this morning, feeling good.. until I got out of bed. Then I felt weak, dizzy, and sick to my stomach. I layed down for a while, but had to take care of the girls.. (breakfast and such.) All I had this morning was sprite.
I decided to have Crista start bringing all of her books out of her room cause we just got a bookshelf and we are going to keep her books in the living room because books are going to be a shared item for the girls. So I sat on the floor hoping just sitting up I'd be ok. All of a sudden I was feeling sick, go in the bathroom and sure enough I threw up. But now I feel GREAT!!! lol I ate some ramen noodles, but couldn't finish because it started to make me feel sick again and drank some more sprite (always helps to calm my stomach.. since I was a kid.) and its absolutely amazing how good I feel right now. I just have a little bit of remnants of feeling weak (but that could be lack of food for 24 hrs too) and dizzy when I stand. Hopefully it doesn't come back strong again. I've been known to get "better" in the morning and worse again by evening.

Amber, glad you are feeling a bit better. It sounds like a "book" day with the girls which helps you. Quiet time reading, no moving around, just sitting.

Hope you start getting your energy back. And getting more sleep helped you, I'm sure.

Amber, just dont overdo it. I had that flu. It comes back quick when you wear down, so remember to go SLOW!!!

Well.. I overestimated myself. I only felt better temporarily because I threw up. I'm a little better this morning after throwing up all day yesterday.. but I'm still pretty sick.
