    Talking bristlenose plecs

    ok i have a brisltenose pleco in my 10 gal. community tank and i would like to know if i still have to qt it since it is in a dif tank? same water and food no deseases has occured is he healthy enough to go in the 55 with my 3 disucs i have now?

    If you have had it for 4 week or so in the tank with no new fish added I would go for it. I breed a few types of fish and if I move them I don't worry as I have not purchased new fish for more than 5 months.

    I switch angel pairs around from one tank to the other, remove BN plecos from breeding tanks etc and it will be fine if you know the fish are healthy. Depending on the temp of the community tank vrs discus tank you may want to acclimate the BN for temp more than anything. IF you are using RO water that would be more of a concern.
