    Default Tetras

I recently bought 4 neon tetras and 2 brass tetras to cycle my 15 gal QT tank. When the tanks done cycling, would it be ok to put the tetras in with my discus?

IME neon tetra will not do well in the high temp needed by discus. Mine really struggled when I tried it.
I've also heard that they are too fragile for cycling a tank, but have only cylced fishlessly before so that's not from my own experience.
They would be happier in a bigger group, as 4 doesn't make for a great shoal.
Have no idea re; brass tetra....

too hot for the neons. Not sure about brass.

If you want to have tetras with your discus, I know that cardinal or rummynose are good. Remember to QT

Just take em beck to the fish store and give them back for store credit. They won't be happy in with the discus, too hot and discus will snack on them.

They will go belly up around 86 F so dont bother with neon, go with cards.
