Who are you? LOL! uh huh SURE Steve! I actually just sucked up all remaining 'eggs'....with the wc ~ These Rams were attacking me with NO fear! I was like laughing thinking "I cld squash you like a bug fool!" lol! They are still protecting the area with nothing there

Hey Marie,

Any baby rams yet????? I was just curious, mine are acting like that now.
I had them since they were tiny little things. They are about 4 or 5 mos old I think. I am not sure how old they are before they lay aggs?

No, you have not see any pic's from me as of yet. I can't seem to get a clear shot. They move to quick for me. Maybe it's my camera, not sure.
I will try to get some soon. So, you actually had little babies and they grew up?? I have one male & one female. All he does is chase her around. I added a pot and a flat rock to see what happens. Keeping my fingers crossed

No Treasa I have never had babies! Only the eggs ~ The females in my three pairs are very small ~ but mean!

I just remember that this picture I post just now was entered in a contest on my African site and now I have to withdraw....one of the rules...The pic you enter can not be posted anywhere else

OOOOoooHH NO.. I am sorry to hear that. All though I am sure you have more great pic's to replace that one. Are the discus eating the eggs or the rams themselves? Or are they just not making it on there own?

I have absolutely no idea Teresa! lol! I just noticed one day what looked like a pile of salt sprinkled on top of the clay cave thingy ~ upon closer look I see it was eggs and they were having a fit if any discus came close!

They were white so it was my understanding that if they turn white ...that is fungus and not a good thing~

I do have an African holding tho! I have put her in her own ten gal a few days ago and soon she will spit!! Then I will have baby Solocolfi!!

No idea what I am going to do with them all tho

Good luck getting Ram eggs to hatch. I've seen them many times but they are only around for a day. I was going to try a cave and/or 10 gallon tank but this thread makes me doubt those options. What is the best hope?
