Somekind of water condition problem or disease from other fishes that I trade for ... I really don't know ... They died of somekind of skin infection .. I tried different kind of medication ... Oh well ...

I only have one 5 months and one 2 months offspring ... They are doing fine so far ...

Must be something terrible in the air! I lost the only Discus I've lost since I restarted Discus 3 years ago, here in Utah yesterday. A nice big blue diamond male. He had injured himself in some fighting last week, and I pulled him out in the quarantine tank so I could medicate him, but the hole in his side was just to much for him.

I really hate it when that stuff happens.

Larry, that has got to hurt! Losing the breeding pair ya had. I hope you get another pair from the stock you have real soon!

Although I never posted in this thread, I followed it very close! A very excellent journal for sure. I learned alot from this particular thread. Kudos to Angela with the walk thru.

If I am fortunate to have a succesful spawn I will definately look this thread up again.

It would be great if a few more people documented their spawning journey as well. I will vow to start a journal if/when the time comes similar to yours Larry!

Yeah, it was a sad week for me ... I raised them from frys .. I felt like I lost a family member. Hopefully, I will have others to pair up soon and start another journel.

It will take me a while to recover ... The bad thing is that ... I don't even know what went wrong ..

Oh well... at least my journel did provides help for others ... When my pairs was having their second spawn, I came back to this thread as well .. Others did contribute a lot in this. Many thanks to them .
