It looks like a mechanical shut-off trying to spawn to me....


Seriously tho, Look on the side of the shut-off. One Side says IN-OUT the product water goes into the IN side and the line to the tank goes to the OUT side.

The other side is connected to the feed water tube. When the tank is full, it shuts off water to the RO unit.
