Hi Amol, here is some information.

Subtrate: ADA aqua soil (Amazonia), ADA bright sand.
The tap water in my city is pretty hard, usually around ph 7.8, ADA aqua soil does a great job for lowering ph to 6.8.

    Fertilizers:
    -Weekly: 12.5ml of Tropica MasterGrow
-daily: 20ml of Florish Excel (DIE BBA!!!!! )

    Illumination: T5 54WX4 (6500K and 10000K), 9 hours per day.
I am thinking about to increase it to 12 hours tho.

Where did you get your discus? Old ones / new ones? Did you get them all from the same source? Very impressive tank btw.

That is one spectacular looking Planted Discus tank! Congratulations on a JOB WELL DONE!

One question... did you mention the size of the tank? If so, I missed it - would love to know.

Either way though - GREAT JOB!

bastalker I thought I could do some garden work and planted the trimmed blyxa outside, oh well.....lol.

Amol Tek light 54WX4 (6500K and 10000K), I heard about 8000k will be better, but can't find it anywhere online.

scolley The tank spec is 48X15X17. Btw, I love your platned tank on plantedtank forum, especially the part of the DIY all glass tank. Awesome job!!
