I use to have moss balls in my tank. Unfortunately my plecos decided that they were tastier than many other foods. I finally had to remove them as they were only moss scraps
Does anyone have Moss Balls in their tanks??
If so can you tell me what the requirements for keeping these are and if a pleco would bother them?

This is what I am afraid of. Before I buy these I need to know this as I do have a pleco in my tank. Did you see them actually sucking onto the balls?
Going to pass on these. The LFS said that they are not totally safe with pleco's and people have complained about them eating these.
i have 2 of them so far so good, plecos are well fed so hopefully nothing happens0

Hi, I have 6 Moss Balls in my tank for several months now. They are doing great and have grown larger. I've read and heard conflicting info on keeping them, though, but these are the conditions I have:
Temp 83-84;
Single Strip 32W T8, but I have 20 ft. high windows that give a lot of ambient room light;
2 BN plecos who never go near them. Don't know about other types of Plecos, though.
