Here are a few more photos of my Heckels.
One more view of a harassing Sturisoma in action and the rest at ease.
Hope you all enjoy a peek into my Heckel's world.

The first two photos show my Heckels living the easy life.
The last two photos show why you don't want to keep Sturisoma species with your discus.
By the time I had removed the Sturisoma all ten discus sustained serious abrasions from what became nearly inccessant attacks. Those cats really developed a taste for discus slime. I was very fortunate the discus healed and had no secondary infections set in. It was that bad.
It was really too bad because they also were able to keep the glass so algae free I only had to clean the glass once a month.

There are more photos and text posted by proxy with tatore's assistance under thread, apistomasters's Heckels. These are the most recent photos I have. I needed help to get the photos uploaded.
I will ask my friend to take some with his digital Nikon .He can take great close ups from across the room and without the eyes having the flash back effect that my point and shoot digital camera produces.
Thank you for the compliments. I try to take good care of my discus.
