Default I got lucky part 3 ( Blue Knights )

I have had some Blue Knights since September 2005, and as many of you may know this strain often takes two years before the male becomes fertile, so in this respect they are on schedule as they were 5 or 6 months old when I received them.

I have waited a long time for this.

It was necessary to remove the female because the male wanted complete control, he is pictured here. I will seperate the fry soon and try again.

Contrats! I would love to see better pics of your Blue Knights, too. I've heard of BKs but have never seen any pics - from what I can see they look beautiful.

Again congratulations Bob. I love the high body fish and that male looks fantastic. Good luck with the spawn.

    ShinShin, Dan, thankyou very much.

Speedbird, yes Blue Knights are perhaps the most dramatic of the high body fish, while retaining the overall characteristics of a discus shape we are used to seeing.

Poconogal, I have a tank of some adults that I am pairing, I will take some pictures and upload them. I have a friend in the United States with quite a collection, hopefully he will post some of his, they are gorgeous.

here are pics I took at Bob's a month ago. This is the same pair.
I remember that this male was very outstanding when I saw him in person.
This by far the best blue fish I've seen in person

Grelot, thanks so much for the pics! Bob, they are gorgeous... they look somewhat like BDs (are they the same color blue?) but with red in the fins? Is that right? I love them!

RB, -thank you for posting those pictures of the pair, I should have cleaned the glass before you fellows arrived! I appreciate your comments as I have come to see that you have a good eye for discus.

Poconogal,- each of Wayne's blue strains are different to some degree. In my view his Super Angel Diamonds, his pure Blue Diamond strain, is a lighter shade.

    cbkok97- thank you.

Bob, your website looks very nice as well. Your fish room looks very clean and nice. Too bad, you are so far away (I'm from Los Angeles), if not, will definately pay a visit to your discus farm.

    Cheers,
    Brandon
