    Default Driftwood wanted

Anyone know a good place to buy driftwood? Also I am thinking about getting some out of the lake. Is there any kind that doesn't turn the water tea color?

Drs Foster & Smith get some nice pieces of Mopani wood.

In the sponser section you can get some nice Manzanita wood.

The tannins will eventually disappear. You can boil the wood to help leach out the tannins before you put it in the tank. I also recommend the sponsor that Jeff suggested. I got some super nice pieces from him.

Hello hillybillyamber, have you tried looking on Aquabid, under driftwood? There's this guy named discusdave and from what I've see him selling he has rather a nice selection of driftwood to choose from. Hopes this helps..Al from Omaha

Where are you located? If near NYC I know two LFS with good selections. If you are not successful on the internet try asking at your LFS. Many LFS have driftwood but it is not kept in the line of sight. It is over or under the tanks and other merchandise. Finding great pieces is a little hard.
