Default A visit to Singapore's Chai Discus Farm

The first Discus breeder I visited in Singapore was Chai Koon Seng (http://www.chaidiscus.com.sg/) . He was busy with some other visitors, so he I didn't get a chance to speak much with him, but he as nice enough to let me take some photos. His shop was extremely clean - when I arrived, his wife was helping keep the tanks clean (do all Singapore women help out their husbands so much? I need to find one... preferably that she look like Joey Feng.... ). Mr. Chai has a good variety (several were breeding in the store - such as the leopard snakeskins) and they were all very healthy too, but the thing that stood out was that he has more albino discus than all the other breeders I visited combined! Here are some pics. Enjoy!

    Hey Darren,
His wife does have a sister and " J " is still single, she helps out in cleaning of the tanks on a daily basis too.

Hi Walter - Chai is a very nice guy as you say - and his wife is indeed a very nice and helpful lady (and pretty of course!)

I like Chai's tanks - very light and clean and he had some nice fish when I went there. Did you get to have a look behind the shop in his holding/breeding tanks? That's an eye opener!

p.s. Mario - you have an eye for beauty sir!

Those are really good looking fish, I believe I would have to make some room for those.

    Hi Paul,
I shouldn't have taken the pictures with those guys, gained some weight due to the good life as being retired.
I will send your regards to the Chai's family.
You have to have a keen eye for both.Ha!Ha!

Chai is definitely a great guy, great sense of humor too. He's always joking around and laughing. He makes me feel very welcome everytime I visit Singapore.
