Man your lucky, I mentioned the fact that I will have another 6 - 75's and my hubby just laughed and said "where are you going to put them", my response "theirs always room on your side of the bedroom"LOL So I've been cleaning out the basement yet again. Hope to find another 8 feet of wall to set them up. Will have to be quick about it as I will have new arrivals by the weekend! can't wait!

Dan I was wondering were you bought your tanks? Do you just buy them brand new at a pet store or on a website like crags?

    Thanks

    Nick,

I bought the 40 breeders at PetCo when they had the $1 gallon...They cost me $40 each....The 75 gallon tanks I purchased at Beverley's pet center in Pembroke Pines FL...These were only $90 each.

Looks like im going to have to do a little bit of traveling to find a place that has tanks for a good price. Here in corpus they normally ask $3 per gallon at any petstore.

One each year PetCo has the $1 per gallon deal for up to a 55 gallon tank...I would check and see when they are going to do it again.

The 75 were cheap because I have sold fish at this pet store.

They do not normally advertise in advance...I found out from a member here on Simply last time. You may want to call and talk with the manager...It is a weekend sale. I had the manager order 18 in advance for me...

The only pairs that I have these days are the following:

    1) 3R2
    2) Sunrise Eruption x Carnation Snakeskin Intermediate
    3) Albino White Eruption Intermediate x Carnation Snakeskin Intermediate

I no longer have the Red Melons since the 3R2 are a superior red strain. Red Melons are Pigeon based while 3R2 are golden based. Golden based fish do not have any peppering.

I am importing fish from Wayne Ng now and will have many other strains available within the next few weeks. I need to update my website sorry for the confusion.

Here is the link to the Wayne Shipment ===> http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showthread.php?t=69816

    Hello,

You have a nice setup but i still have some doubts. What do you use to steralize the water?? Ozone or UV??? And more 1 think....could you tell me what is that black box that you have in the first pictures those you are showing your sump system. A kind of a algae filter? ^^

The black box is my home made wet-dry filter. I do not use any Ozone or UV lights. There is no need to sterilize your water. Just do regular water changes and only get fish from one source and you will not have any issues.
