    Angela,

Made some progress on the second rack over the weekend. I painted a few more tanks, painted the rack and installed some lighting. I will try to take some pics tonight.

As promised here are some pictures from this past weekends work. I did not get to do much the past two nights. Last night was caught up with 2 Monday night football games and tonight fell asleep at 8PM to catch up from lost sleep from last night... Yea I feel that I am getting old.

The first picture is of the rack painted. The second picture shows a support brace with 2 large bolts that my dad made me put in for insurance. The third picture shows lighting being installed. The last picture shows 3 new tanks drilled and painted ready for water. All what is left to do on this rack is the plumbing for Air, waste water and return water for filtration.

Thanks...Trust me I can't wait either. It is more work than I estimated. My father is coming back down from Ohio to give me a hand this Thursday. I hope to get most completed next weekend.

I'm not a plumbing person. lol (Andrew is at our house) But why is the pvc pipe so far up in the tank. Is this an overflow? Are you doing automatic drains and fills?

The PVC is an over flow. The growout tanks will be on a central system.

I use 1 inch PVC for over flows....1/2 inch for intake from filters...I have not installed the 1/2 pipe yet. Not sure what 21.5mm equals in inches..

I had a small problem with some mildew and dry rot with some of the sheet rock from the old set-up....Word of advice if you can, only use green board rather than regular dry wall. Also moved some of the fish to the new rack. Dad is in town again so I hope to make some huge progress the next few days.

Finally finished fixing the drywall in the corner. First picture is last and final rack. It will hold 4 x 75 gallon tanks. Two are already to go I will be picking up final two tanks today. Next few pictures are a tour around the room from right to left then back at the first rack seeing the new rack on the right. I will be doing alot of PVC work today so I will try to post later tonight some more updates.
