My name is Joey, I have a total of 240gal (3 tanks). I have a few discus with neon tetra's. 2 of the 3 tanks are empty and are awaiting new arrivals. The other is filled with discus/neon,large driftwood and various plants.

Unfortuantly I have joined this site because of a recent sickness outbreak with my fish will be seeking help in the disease/sickness forums. Help appreciated.

Hope too learn lots from you all. this site has been very informative already

Hello Brewmaster.

My fish are losing weight fast not eating and have noticed they arnt breathing verymuch really slow breathing compared too others. I did notice some flashing rubbing against heaters. I was thinking Flukes but then my city also adds aluminum sulphate too the water during summer months. Where are you located and do you know how much is added to the water?

whats your water parameters, methods for wc's, and water change schedule?Can you post some pics of the fish in question please?
