questions on lighting

Hi folks I am hoping to get some input.I am about to set up a new 75 gal discus and planted it will be a combo BB plants tank. Has anybody user the twin coralife freshwater light setup. I figure I willend up with about 3.7 watts per gal Foster smith have them on sale for the freshwater double @259.99 and the salt set up for 233.99. Witch setup would should I choose I need some feed back thanks Mike

Without CO2 your tank will look like pea soup in short order. A $20 electronic shop light and T-8 lamps is not only far less expensive, its all the light you need for growing plants and not having algae everywhere. Spend the money you saved on a canopy to hide the shoplight.
