How exciting Eileen!!!!!!!! Wish that was at our door. Remember to once you put them in the tank to forget about them (I know it will be hard) until in the morning. Start them slow out with your routine and work them into it. You will do awesome with them. Good luck!

Thanks for posting pics and can't wait to see more.

    Default acclimation process

My son was here to help. We took a plastic container that i use for w/c's with the 10gal. Only clean water is used for this.
We cut the bags almost to water level

We then took an air line w/a air line valve and slowly added water from the tank to the bucket, and splashing water in the bags a little at a time. This process took about 45 min. When we noticed them feeling real good, placed them in the tank. They all started swimming immediately

I let them be w/lights out for about 45min. I then went in and watched them. They were swimming at the top alot but swam real good. I then fed fbw's and the ate great. They r on their way to HUGE!!!
I did notice the biggest one has a split fin on the back, but i'm sure that was from shipping. I added salt about 3 min after placing in the tank. The tank is a 55 gal, so it was 5 tbsps. So far so good. They r swimming happily

Remember that with shipping thing will happen, scratched up, fins a little fried. They will heal! It will just take some time. Have patience. Doing good so far Eileen! I wouldn't feed them any more, let them get settled in.

    Eileen,

Glad to see all the fish arrived with no issues. I really liked the process that you used for acclimating the fish. I normally just cut the bags and empty them into a bucket or the actual styro that the fish came in. Then tie off some airline tubing and let the new tank water drip into the styro for about 1 hour or so. I also add an airline into the styro to aerate during the drip process. Anyway get ready to do the same thing tomorrow...

Hi Dan. Yes, my son told me that was the best way. When salt water fish r acclimated, i guess that is how its done. I like that way also. Yes, another pickup. I will be there w/bells on I will post some of those pics also.
    thanks
    Eileen
