thanks for the update
Well, after keeping the fish in "hiding" all last night. I went out this morning to check on them and give them their first snack. Slap me if you want I just woke up 20min. ago. So, FBW to welcome them to their new home. 5 of the six are swimming with one going down every now and again. I did notice that the one that kept going down has an issue with his tail fin; most of it is gone. I'm thinkin' it's from shipping and whatnot.
A couple of them were more interested in fighting with each other instead of eating. They'd nip and lip lock and then go about eating. Right now there is no voracity in their eating. Hopefully, that will change soon.
I still have one that is down. He's been in the same spot since yesterday afternoon. He's still breathing, so I'll still give him a chance.
I'm gonna try to get some better pic of them today.

Jose,
The one with the tail problem should be alright once it grows back. I know there are some folks who've had fish burned so badly that they had no fins left and they laid on the bottom of the tank for days, but they managed to pull through.
As for the one that's still down... it doesn't sound good for him, but I guess as long as he's breathing there's always a chance.
The voracity in their appetites will come back over the next several days as the stress wears off and they settle in. Are you slowly raising the heat up? If so, the warmer temps usually encourage them to be a little more active (and therefore hungry).
Ryan
Thanks, Ryan. Both of the one's that are down have the worse tail fin damage. They both get up and "swim" around a bit but then just lie back down. I'm guessing to rest .
I expect them to start eating better once they're completely settled in; I think they have to get used to my big afro as well. I have raised their temp back up to 86-88. I'm thinking they'll be just fine (fingers crossed)

Jose, have Jenny feed them so you don't scare them with your hairdo. lol Or put on a hat.
I'm glad for the most part everyone is doing good.
Just a sidenote: The one in the video that keeps "lookin' up" is the one that was laying down all day yesterday and into this morning before I fed

Thanks, I hope so too. Just fed red wrigglers and they like them for the most part. I got one that is fiesty as hell. He'll chase down one of the bigger ones if he gets too close.

Jose, you could always try putting the one that is laying on the bottom and maybe even the one with the messed up tail in a breeder box that you hang in the tank. I believe they are used for like guppies or something. That will keep the pressure off the one laying down and also not stress out the other one. Just a thought.
Cool Video Jose. I hop e ur little guy gets better. Poor little thing
Gives me an idea tho, about the video

I may have to do that Angela. Who knows maybe I can just stick my head in the tank and they'll think it's really long CBWs.
That is a thought. I was thinking of rigging up some sort of harness to keep him upright; I saw a fellow fish geek do it with her goldies. Granted they were a tad bit bigger.
Thanx, Eileen
Thanx, Darren. I'll be posting a new video of them eating their first BH treat. I think a video gives you a better feel of how they're actually acting versus a pic. I think it'll be helpful especially in this Challenge.
