You're killing it Fritz!! Good for you mate!

I've finally got my act together and booked some flights to do a couple of good trips.

The first one is in August, and off to the Cook Islands for 2 weeks as i had planned over two years ago. I'll be doing some offshore fishing, which is my passion, but while I'm there I'm going to try and snag a Bonefish on the flats...see how that work out.

The next trip is in October to the U.S.A. for just under 3 weeks. I'll be starting in Idaho with a mate that lives there, and hope to do some hunting as well as fishing in his lake. I've never actually fished fresh water over there, so looking forward to catching many firsts, particularly a large mouth bass. From there i go across to Florida, and spending some time at The Bahamas, as well as Islamdora along the Keys, known as the best sports fishing destination in the world.

Both should be good trips, and ill be sure to share info and pictures on how l go.

Thanks for keeping this thread going, and i hope more will chime in as time passes.

    Tight Lines!!
    We're here for a good time...not a long time

Bahamas are ten times better for reef and offshore than the Keys.

Floridians from Miami to Coco take their boats over to the Bahamas for serious fishing

Look forward to many great pictures. Idaho has epic trout fishing. Some are huge over 20 pounds. My biggest is about 5 pounds on 4 pound test. Have a great time mate.

Not a pic of recent catch, but more of a "wish blue crabs weren't as slow this year because I'm so hungry for them that I tried painting a picture of a cooked crab and then thought about eating it".

Redfish has been off the charts this year. Got a new boat too (still got my old scout). Fun little 17' Triton johnboat that I can get into even skinnier water OR maneuver quicker for sheepshead. Might try tarpon in the inlet this fall

Bonet heads are fun to catch and and easy to handle. Bet they had a blast with them.
