I'd give it a go. That water looks BEAUTIFUL!

I caught the most fish that day. No one ever said they had to be "keepers". So I set myself up with a bobber. Dropped that puppy right off the side of the boat.

If you left it there, something bigger might have come along! I remember I caught a fish once, was reeling it in and then a gator took my fish! Broke my pole. was def. hard to real that in!

It's funny you should say that Jennie.
Just recently, one of the local fishing show presenters came across this situation.

Anyone that knows Al McGlashan, or watches his 'Strikezone' dvd's, or fishing shows, would know that on occasion Al likes to get in the water for some underwater footage to share with his viewers.
Well on this occasion, while fishing out from Port Stephen's, North of Sydney in N.S.W, Al got more than what he was expecting.

Check out the attached news report.

Can't believe I missed this thread 1st time around! Some awesome shots there Joe! And Vera, that Mackeral must have give you sore arm muscles for days afterwards!
The two best times to fish are when its raining and when it's not.
