I live in NJ and fish for Stripers ,but my favorite to fish for is the fluke(summer flounder)
Check out some footage from the recent trip l did on the Great Barrier Reef out from Cairns while heavy tackle fishing on my mates boat Moana III.
I spent just under two weeks for a 'live on board' charter which gives us the opportunity to travel north along the many ribbon reefs. Not only do we get to tag and release giant black marlin, but also lots of different types of sportfishng and snorkling on the reef. It truely is an amazing place.

I just recieved the biggest package in my life!
Its an order l put in a year and a half ago after my trip to Tropic Star Lodge in Panama (you can look back to see my report on here)
When l built the house that l'm currently living in, l always imagined having a wall with a few fish replicas of my most memorable catches. My fish room
The first one l had up was my very first marlin that hooked me into game fishing, but that was 18 odd years ago. After seeing the fantastic work of Living Design Taxidermy in Costa Mesa in L.A, l just had to have some of thier work hanging on this wall, so l chose the sailfish, roosterfish, dolphine fish, and yellow fin tuna that l caught from Panama.
Unfortunetly though my Tuna and Sailfish were damaged during shipment to Australia, so l had to take them down and give them to a local taxidermist for repairs...l just hope he's up to the challenge.

Joe...I have to hand it to you my friend, those are true beauty wall mounts. They look fantastic
I can't find time to slip away and hit some of my favorite rivers for steelhead and here you are fishing some of the nicest waters around the world.
Truly a pleasure and enjoy everyone of your posts that share your experience.

Haha...very interesting. Sorry to dissapoint but in this case 'ute' refers to a utility vehicle......l sold two utes, which l did up to buy my first boat....long story

Anyone been fishing lately? Would love to hear what you've been targeting. My wife and l took the boat out on Saturday, and caught a nice feed of Flathead and Whiting. Nothing big but all over legal size to bring home. After we took the boat out of the water we enjoyed this beautiful sun set.
