... unless you ask for more. I took this photo with my cell phone and it actually came out somewhat decent so I decided i'd share it with the board. I've not posted much on this forum as my first thread a few months back led to me putting on my flame suit and laying low for awhile. Now that the heat is off I decided to fullfil the cheeky request I had for pictures of my discus. I really enjoy looking at everyone elses photos here, that more than anything has taught me a great deal.

The turk is. She was about the size of a half dollar when I got her in July. Now shes about 5" and still growing, or so I hope.

Damn Jim, thats close to an inch a month. Excellent job, what is your feeding and WC schedule? That fish is growing like a weed.

Not quite. She was closer to 2"TL when I got her. Now shes 5"TL. Shes grown about 3" in 5 months. I was doing 50-75% water changes daily, Now its everyother day about 35%. They were all in a barebottom tank until a week ago. I feed 4-6 times a day. Tetra Bits, Beefheart, Bloodworms and Brine Shrimp.

They are marlboro reds, they just havnt fully colored up yet. Or they are Melons and I was sent the wrong fish. Not sure yet.

I dont think I have a fish that would rate higher than a 4 in the Discus University but I still think they look great in photographs.

Hey Jim, any discus I own is a 10 in my book! That all that matters. Beautiful assortment and still loving that turqs colors.
