Hi,
this is Heiko Bleher and I just saw you nice wilds.
They are about 2-3 years old and the one with the more pattern over its body (stripes) seem top be a male and the other a female. And I think you fishes come from the Manacapuru region.
But there are two very important things you should do, in order to keep them well and happy:
1. You must feed them several times a day until the bones on its sides disappear, and
2. You should give them fine white (or beige) sand. Have alook at my website under Bleher's Biotopes ad look for the discus tanks (Nhamunda, Mamiraua, etc.). They need it, like eartheaters and other cichlids. Specially wild ones like those.

thank you for ur advice...
but i got a question... if i don't want to remove the old sand and change into the white sand.. what can i do?
( its a really big big task to do that )

I just scooped out all of my gravel from my 46 gallon (about 50 lbs.) in under an hour with a plastic cup. It really isn't that hard at all!!
