    Default April 7, 2008 Update

    Hello All -

I've finished my Master's Thesis now, so I should be able to submit updates more frequently now. My challenge fish are doing great, they are all around 4.5" now and they're starting to color up nicely.

I still feed three to four times a day - frozen beefheart mix and Tetra Color Bits. I do a weekly 80% water change. Nothing else to report really. All of them are healthy and seem pretty happy!

Attached are some pictures I took this morning. I took the pictures before feeding, so they were much less shy!!

I have to admit...I had doughts about your enviroment. Having gravel and sparsley planted with artificial plants. Looking at these pics, though, they are looking real good! Great job with these guys with the set up you have!
