    Default 06-03-08 Stalemate

Well, there has been no major changes on this end. They've just been getting a little more blue in the faces is about it. I've only been doing daily 50% WCs; they eat the same diet of FBW, FBS, BH, tetra color granules, Omega One marine flakes and pellets, and Aquadine specialty mix. They get occasional red wrigglers snacks, and I feed them daphnia and mosquito larva about every other day. The mosquito larva is not every time only when I need to keep the numbers down so I'm not getting bitten evertime I go in the garage

Jose, they are looking superb my friend. I would think that they are well around the 5 inch mark now? Judging by the fact that they cover up the spnge filter.
Great job...they certainly have come a long way in 5 months.
    We're here for a good time...not a long time

Wow, those guys look great. They are getting some nice coloring and their shape is great. Good job!

    Quick question,
What's the deal with the plant roots? And what kind of plant is it?

    Thanks, Evelyn

Joe, they're about there I guess, I haven't put a tape to em. But I reckon you're right.

Evelyn, it's pothos ivy and it's used to soak up excess nutrients, i.e. ammonia, nitrates.

    Well, Jose -
What could be added to the compliments above. This batch of fish has come along so nicely. I'm sure there are many who wish they could go into a "stalemate" like that !!!
They are gorgous, just stunning. They have amazing color and markings. The gold and red combo is so beautiful, and the blue highlights really set it off.
They are a site to see, that is for sure !!!
