What is a good price for a 75 gallon tank, light and stand? For the stand i'm looking at something closed and either white or black. I have a few prices in mind plus shipping but i want to know from you what to be expecting. Thanks guys.

thanx jim i will keep an eye on craigs list and I live in british columbia but right now im visiting in the east and found a nice aquarium for $1000 but i can't get it home so...

Not sure about LFS in BC but in my area, a brand new 75gal tank (not RR) only is between $95-$120 depending on brand. Add another $30 for the glass top, $50 for the light and another $300-$400 for the stand.

Here in Michigan I can get a brand new 75 with glass tops, regular lights that come with tank packages, and a pine stand for $400 including tax. Hardwood stands add a lot more...usually a couple hundred dollars. Depending on your needs a heater or two and filter should be an additional $50-200 total.

i'd recommend fluval osaka. it comes with the stand and lighting already. price is probably around $800-900, depending of where you are.

i had the 90 gal one and absolutely love it!
