Hi Darren,
Good to hear from mate. Have clocked up a few hours down in the shed.
Now its all set up takes about 20mins a night to clean tanks.
There's always a cold one in the fridge for you mate.

just wanted to say looks amazing! i love the earlier comment about... you can still drink rum in front of empty tanks. love it! i went to my friends house to look at his new set up. it was just water and 2 pieces of wood. lol. we drank beer and talked about possibilities. lol. our wives think were crazy! super so far! walt.

Hi brock, thanks very much mate. I am working on a dump an fill auto wc system design at the moment. May take awhile to sort out. But keep an eye on this thread, I reckon I have it nearly sorted, in my head anyway...

Yeah mate its been too long since we caught up.
I sold off my fish in November last year, and pulled down
my fish room. Am bore to death without the fish, but plan to
put another room together once we build the new house.

Hi Wavesufer,
A few reasons prompted the room pulldown, Basically we were planning on doing a large extension & renovation to our house , so the logistics of keeping my fishroom healthy while construction was underway came into it. However the costs to construct blew out ,as they do, so we have decided to sell up and build a new house instead. We are hoping to start constuction of the new house as soon as the sale goes through.
Also realized that you can only count on yourself to look after your fishroom , so extended holidays are hard to organise.
Will do things abit differently next time round. Have a system design in my mind that will work really well in our climate here.
